Suzuki Strings students currently in 6th grade visited Central Jr. High in February. These students and their parents had the opportunity to meet Director of Performing and Visual Arts Mark Chandler, Central Jr. High principal Randy Belcher, Central Junior High Orchestra program director Tara Truex, and L.D. Bell High School Orchestra program director Allison King. These students heard performances from the orchestra students at Central, and were given a tour of the facilities. Most importantly, these students experienced the excellence, and variety of program offerings at Central Jr. High. Special thanks to the Suzuki Strings teachers for instilling the love of music in students at an early age, and encouraging them to continue their musical studies through middle school and high school years.
