Bedford Junior High French teacher Madame Reece traveled with students to France and Spain over spring break, along with Trinity High School teacher Madame King and her students.
Students got to experience the beautiful sights and sounds of Paris, the City of Light, for the first three days of the voyage. Students braved the cold during a nighttime tour on the Bateau Mouche down the Seine River. Riding golf carts to tour the grounds of the Versailles Palace and going to the top of the Eiffel Tower at night were some of the students' favorite moments.
Then, it was off to smaller, beautiful French towns where students toured the famous Chenonceau castle, climbed the sand dune of Pilat, the highest dune in Europe, and walked the beautiful shores of Bordeaux, Biarritz, and Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
The group then traveled to Spain through the city of San Sebastián (another beautiful shore) where she and the boys climbed to the very top of the city!
The last three days, like Paris, were spent in the fast-paced city of Barcelona where they saw the harbor and the Mediterranean on a bike tour.
