HEB ISD students ranging in age from elementary to junior high performed at our first HEB ISD Fall Orchestra and Fine Tuners Concert on Thursday November 15th, 2018. There were over 150 current and former Suzuki Strings students featured in this performance involved in the Reading Academy Orchestra, Elementary Honors Orchestra, Violin Fine Tuner Ensemble, Viola Fine Tuner Ensemble, Cello Fine Tuner Ensemble, and Central Jr. High Chamber Orchestra. The evening gave a vibrant example of how a child is educated and developed in a fine arts environment from an early age and throughout his tenure in our district. This was a dedicated effort and collaboration across many campuses resulting in an evening of memorable accomplishments. Thank you to Mr. Belcher, principal at Central Jr. High, for supporting our orchestra program and allowing us the use of facilities. Thank you to Ms. Truex, orchestra director at Central Jr. High, for her dedication to excellence and collaboration. Congratulations to all Suzuki Strings elementary teachers on their hard work developing the character of young students.
