In honor of the irrational number pi, Pre-AP Geometry students at Euless Junior High celebrated Pi Day on March 14th (3/14). Pi is defined as the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. The concept of pi has been around for about 4000 years, and in 2013 was calculated to 12 trillion digits. Also, March 14th is Albert Einstein's birthday. Mr. Baggett's geometry students were asked to send him a picture of them celebrating Pi Day during Spring Break.
