Fourth-graders in the classrooms of Lindsey Villagomez and Lori Alestock at River Trails Elementary recently visited "Punctuano's Italiano Ristorante" as they reviewed for the upcoming Writing STAAR. Students were engaged and excited to see their teachers and classrooms transformed for the day, as they used pasta to edit texts for commas, capital letters, and periods. They also followed a created a menu and plates. It was evident that students were proud to learn in such creative and engaging classrooms.
