On September 2nd, Trinity High School had a surprise guest at their Friday pep rally. Myles Turner, Trinity alum and current player with the NBA's Indiana Pacers, announced the Myles Ahead Volunteer Challenge. Through a partnership with the United Way of Tarrant County, Turner asked the Trinity High School students to donate at least 10 hours of community service per month during the 2016-17 school year. Trinity High School also surprised Myles with the announcement of the retirement of Turner's THS jersey, No. 33.
